SUA – Genting va deschide Resorts World Hudson Valley anul viitor

Genting Malaysia, which owns Resorts World New York City and Resorts World Catskills in Sullivan County, has said it hopes to debut Resorts World Hudson Valley, its new casino in Newburgh, New York, by 2022.
Meghan Taylor, Vice President of government affairs and public relations for Resorts World, said: “We look forward to breaking ground soon and delivering on our commitment to create good-paying union jobs for local residents, help revitalize the Newburgh Mall, serve as an economic engine in the Hudson Valley, and begin generating revenue for New York State’s public schools.”
The projected opening follows Newburgh’s Town Board approval of an agreement between Monticello Raceway Management and Resorts World Hudson Valley to bring video lottery terminals and an electronic casino to the Newburgh Mall in Orange County, New York.
Genting intenționează să opereze 1,300 de terminale de loterie video pe site, împreună cu lounge-ul specific Resort World, Bar 360. Va crea între 200 și 225 de locuri de muncă cu normă întreagă, cu un salariu mediu anual de 74,000 USD cu beneficii. Locația VLT va genera taxe anuale de gazdă de 3 milioane USD împărțite de orașul Newburgh și Orange County.
