Germany – HPYBET lands land-based and online sports betting licence

HPYBET has become one of the first companies to receive a sports betting license in Germany. For the young sports betting provider, the successful completion of the licensing is an important milestone in the company’s history.

HPYBET submitted the license application to the Darmstadt regional council in January 2020 and has been awarded with a licence for both the online and retail sectors.

Michael Lessig, CEO at HPYBET Germany, said: “This is a big and important milestone in our still young history.
